LET IT SNOW!

Today we awoke to the first snowfall of the winter season. Schools were closed, so Cheryl got to enjoy yet another day home with the boys. This day was even more special because it was Kevin's first time seeing snow, and the first time it has ever snowed where Denovan lived (besides the MTC).

BRRRRRR. This stuff is COLD!!!

OK, mom and dad. When are you going to let me PLAY in it?

All toasty warm, and ready to play outside in the snow.

Yummy Yummy, did any get in my tummy?

Kevin sure enjoyed this evening's dinner: stroganoff with mashed potatoes. He loved it so much he wanted to share with his mommy. Fortunately, Denovan did not post the picture he took right after Kevin threw a fistful of Idaho's finest in my hair.

I don't know why Kevin gets so serious in front of the camera. He's usually all smiles and extremely talkative. Sweetie says it's the Latino in him. Kevin and Daddy love to wrestle.

Our little climber, climbing to higher heights everyday. Here he's on top of the back bench for Grandpa's Expedition.

Fun at Chester State Park
In celebration of all things autumn, we wanted to go to Asheville, NC to view the #4 best fall foliage in the world. We also invited 10-year old Ally Black from the branch to come with us. Kevin was cranky from after just 5 minutes in the car and made it quite clear that he wanted to be outside playing and not in a carseat for a 6-hour round trip adventure. Well, as you can see by the title, we made it as far as Chester, SC (about 30 minutes away) and had a wonderful time.

Kevin loves the monkey bars/rings/whatever they are.

Say "Cheese" Ally, Kevin and Cheryl!

The fall colors around the lake are beautiful. And yes, Ally is tall for a 10 year old.

Happy Halloween!!!

This Halloween was a blast. We took Kevin and the neighbor Ally Black trick-or-treating. Afterwards we hung out at the Black's house. Cheryl passed out candy while Denovan and Ally's brother Mason enjoyed making people scream.

Denovan and I made his Phantom of the Opera mask since we couldn't find it anywhere. He looks great!

I'm a black fairy.

And Kevin is our little skunk. Thank you aunt Melissa for the adorable costume. He got compliments all evening!!

Here's some more views of Kevin. The heart on his bum bum reads "Li'l Stinker"
