Saturday Family Outing
Today we went to see the Cabanis's horses and then went to Landsford Canal. The Canal is on the Catawba River and the hiking trails were part of the oldest network of roads in Colonial America, and were even used as Native American trading paths centuries earlier.
This was the first "hiking" we've ever done with Kevin. He LOVED it.

Kevin is sitting on a cobblestone bridge that crosses over a part of the canal.

My little Scouts.

"But Mom, I'd rather look at the pretty river than look at Daddy!"

Where's Kevin?

Here he is!

Denovan climbed into a tree that leaned over the river to get this shot. I think it was worth it.

Here we go, about to start our adventure at Landford Canal.

Daddy teaches Kevin how to pet a horse.
Today on our family outing, Sweetie and Kevin showed me the horses. Just before taking the picture, Denovan warned me that the horse might try to bite my hair. I was trying to be cautious while Kevin was hoping to get a show.

Kevin likes to play outside. Here he's showing off Grandpa's SUV and relaxing in the backyard.

It was a long day.

Here is Kevin riding on one of his favorite horses Louie. Jennifer is a great teacher even though she gave him the blind horse, and on the top is Caramel dad's favorite horse the other horse is Charly the old man.

Last week Kevin and his dad stayed home alone because grandma was out of town. So dad had to think of thing to do to keep the little boy happy. so they went out to see the horses. Kevin loves to be with the horses or is it his dad?

here is Kevin ready for a day at the stables.
